How to make low cost International calls

Free International Minutes

When you take a contract with us you get up to 5 hours FREE international minutes per month using our 800 international call service. Even after you have used up your free monthly allowance, you get a choice of services which means you can call from just 0.04€ / minute 24/7 using a Bright International Calling card or from 0.10 / minute using our quick and easy 800 call service.

Bright offers you two low-cost, simple ways of calling internationally: our 800 service, and our prepaid calling cards.

 800 Service Re-direct

When you sign up for a Bright contract this service is automatically included, and ready to go

1. Dial 800 followed by your unique digit (see your contract) and press call e.g., 8003

2. Wait until you hear the dial tone (normally ~ 1 second)

3. Enter the number you wish to call, with the usual 00 before your country code and then press the # key

Please note: do not press the ‘call’ button again, otherwise your phone may put the 800 call on ‘hold’ and dial the international number directly!

eg. For a number in the UK you would call 800 plus your unique digit (see your contract)– wait for dial tone – dial 00 44 1234 567 890#

Benefits

- It is easier than using a calling card

- Your credit does not expire

 Calling card

You buy a calling card on-line in the Members Area.  Log in, click on “buy a calling card” and confirm.  You will then receive an email with your unique PIN code and your password for the web.

1. Dial your calling card number (see your contract for details)

2. Press 1 for Spanish, 2 for English

3. Enter your unique PIN (card number), eg. 12345678

4. Enter the international number you wish to call, with the usual 00 before your country code and then press the # key

eg. For a number in the UK you would call your calling card number – press 2 - dial the PIN number – dial 00 44 1234 567 890

Benefits

- The card is only activated from the moment you make the first call

- €5 cards are valid for 2 months, €20 cards are valid for 3 months

- We’ll simply add the €5 or €20 for the calling card to your next bill

- If you add the calling card number as your MiAmigo, you’ll pay even less per minute

Important Information about the way we bill Calling Card calls

The cost of the actual call is split in two parts on your bill:

The national call to the your calling card number will be charged according to your plan for connection fees and per minute rate for a Bright call – this will appear on your bill.

The international part comes out of the calling card balance.

Therefore, it may look like you’re paying twice for the same call – but rest assured, when you add both parts together, you will arrive at our published rates!

 Please note:

Any free of charge international call time only applies when using the 800 international call service.

 Direct International Calls

Should you wish to have this service activated, we will ask for another deposit, which can be used towards payment of the bill with the international calls, or which will be returned in full after the bill has been paid.
